"Liverpool, Arsenal get wins in Premier League"

Liverpool and Arsenal returned to winning ways Saturday to affirm their title credentials of the Premier League, while Hull lost their third match after an impressive start to his campaign debut in the top flight. 

Robbie Keane scored his first two league goals since joining Liverpool in the offseason in a 3-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion. 

Samir Nasri also had a double, leading Arsenal to a 2-1 victory over defending champion Manchester United and relieve the pressure on manager Arsene Wenger throwing a three-game winless streak in all competitions. 

Liverpool leads the classification by three points ahead of Chelsea, which is at Blackburn on Sunday. United gunners in the past third. 

Hull overcame Bolton 1-0 Matt Taylor in the 50 minute goal, while Portsmouth won for the first time since Harry Redknapp replaced Tony Adams two weeks ago. Jermain Defoe converted a 90th minute penalty to beat Sunderland 2-1.

Sampdoria rallies for 1-1 tie with Inter Mourinho in the Serie A debut

Marco Del Vecchio scored a second half equalizer Saturday to help draw 1-1 with Sampdoria and Inter Milan spoil José Mourinho's Serie A coaching debut.

Di Natale put Udinese ahead in the ninth by dribbling around a defender in the box before beating Palermo goalkeeper Marco Amelia. The forward made Italy 2-0 in 34 after taking a long pass and lobbing the ball over the head of Amelia.

Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano pulled one back in the 69 th, but Gokhan Inler headed by a corner one minute later to seal the victory.
